ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: European Time Zone, active at least once every day
BRACKETS/PROSE: Both works
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Sexual assault and pedophilia are topics I'd rather avoid if possible
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: absolutely.
RELATIONSHIPS: Yes but expect a slow, SLOW burn.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: You can use your powers on him. He has no magical powers beside a fancy chains and imprisonment trick so...
MAGICAL INFORMATION: He has the ability to imprison creatures with aetheric chains and, with the support of other people's energy, to imprison them inside crystals as well. Beside that? He's pretty much powerless.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Good physical conditions
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Sexual assault and any abuse/violence regarding children. Neglectful parents can and will hit a painful button for him.
THREADHOPPING: Yeah, just ask my partner.
FOURTHWALLING: Ask first, please.
NOT INTERESTED IN: Nothing comes to mind right now
AURAL: His Aether is pale blue so I can assume his aura looks the same. No canonical 'color of the soul' for him, so I'd go with red for those who can see it.
OLFACTORY: It really depends on the setting. He's a rather clean person so if you're close enough he probably smells like soap, but if we're in a survival situation or in a post apocalyptic world expect him to smell like hot garbage. Erich doesn't use any kind of perfume.
DEMEANOUR: He's rather calm and friendly to others. He can get excited over sharing knowledge with others and has the tendency of thinking of other people before himself. He has the habit of playing with his crystal belt when he's nervous about anything.

CHARACTER INFO
• Character Name: Erichthonios
• Character Age: Apparent age around 25. His kind is apparently supposed to live for centuries but he's still a young adult.
• Character Canon: Final Fantasy XIV
• Canon Point: During the Final Days, right before being sundered.
• Character History: Wikia Link
• Character Personality: I should probably mention Erichthonios is a support character in a raid quest of Final Fantasy XIV and we don't see much of him outside what's a time of emergency and the moments immediately after, but I will do my best to elaborate on what we see.
He doesn't quite rest even when it's implied he had a chance to do so, since we find out that between one battle and the other Erich spent his time teaching Themis how to use internment magicks and working. The people he devoted himself to have his full attention until it's no longer necessary.
We also see him at the end of his life, creating a crystal to pass down to his future incarnations the duty of protecting the Pandaemonioum in his steed, to fix what he will no longer be able to fix. He has chosen to defy the highest authority in his world and ignore his call as one of the sacrifices to stay and die in his beloved facility because the creatures inside it cannot be left unattended and he will see his duty done until the very end.
— Born Scholar: He is a person born basically without magicks access in a society that strongly relies on them. He grew up in one of the most dangerous facilities of his time, without ever stepping outside of it, and he had to keep up with dangerous beasts and monsters with the only weapon he truly had: knowledge. Themis mentions it directly in a dialogue ingame that despite Erich's inability to use internment magicks, his knowledge of the theory behind it is impeccable, and he still workls full time as researcher despite his limitations.
He has a passion for learning new things that I'd love to reflect ingame, and a deep love for teaching what he knows, even if in the current setting he may be rather... limited, considering he's completely out of his element.
— Optimistic: No matter how dark things turn, he always seem to have a sliver of hope to cling to. When the Pandaemonium is falling apart, he doesn't give up on the hope of saving his coworkers. When the Final Days are destroying everything he holds dear he entrusts the Pandaemonium to his future incarnations and doesn't give up the hope that someday a certain 'warrior' or someone like them will show up again and save everyone once more.
He's not stupid, mind you, he can accept that the world isn't good and he doesn't cling to false hopes, but he also attempts to see the bright side in things even when the situation is dire.
It's only by the end of their ordeal that Erichthonios seems to be able to let the past go, accept that his father tried his best despite the circumstances and that his mother wasn't the single best person alive. At least he seems to be able to move past previous issues once things are settled down, as it's shown by having him and Lahabrea work together when they're finally back on speaking terms.
— Emotional: There isn't much to say about this: he's emotional for Ancient standards, something stated by Elidibus himself (The man seems especially confused by how much Erichthonios is attached to his parents, something that wasn't normal back in their days.). He is driven by emotions and dreams, even choosing the least practical approach on how to handle the issues inside the Pandaemonium instead of putting the safety of the Star above anything else as he's supposed to do.
His inner turmoil and resentment are what allowed Hepaistos to control him, too. Even if we can assume most of his affection was imprinted with experiments and such by his mother... well, by the very end of his story he's still giving her a small chance to redeem herself before locking his heart and bringing her down with himself.
It is also hinted his true strength, magically speaking, is tied to his feelings instead of logic and reason like it is for the rest of his people. The three times we see him using *any* power at all he's driven by strong emotions that get him to overcome his limits.
Erichthonios also allows his very low self esteem to get in the way of the things he does.
— Limited knowledge of the outside world: It's heavily hinted the boy never left his facility. He knows a lot about magicks, aether, souls and all those things that are part of the basic knowledge of his world, but at the same time his knowledge of anything that lies outside the Pandaemonium is minimal at best. He was born in it, spent his life inside its walls and then died in that place.
Survival skills that could be useful for gathering and hunting in the wild? He has none. Ability to read maps properly or even draw them? Absolutely nada. Despite being a quick learner, he will spend a good amount of time feeling useless in the beginning.
Character Skills:
• Good organizational skills: The TDM was him gathering items to make a list of what's available and help people that may come later, plus he spent his entire life in one of the most organized facilities of the Ancient World (due to his danger). He will at least be good at prioritizing tasks, setting goals, and developing systems for achieving those goals.
• Character Inventory:
- His clothes, including the fancy crystal belt.
- A mask, typical of his people's usual wear.
- The
• Important Notes: Since I don't know if/how many WoLs may apply to the game, I will default his WoL to the basic male Hyur we see in the trailers and promotional material. He will openly welcome more WoLs and treat them as close friends, of course, probably being fascinated by the concept of multiple worlds and dimensions, but until a WoL joins he'll be very vague about it and stick to he/him pronouns.
His eyes also... glow in the dark? It's a racial trait and I don't know if it will carry over or not, I have no issues in dropping it though. Ancient just have bright eyes.

Just a few details and headcanons

Personality: Not much is known of Erichthonios outside what we see in his quest, a glimpse of his personality in time of dire need and emergency, but I will try my best to cover what we can see about him.
Erich is, compared to many other ancients, emotional almost to a fault. It’s especially evident in contrast with Lahabrea and Themis, who both place their duties above emotions when it’s time to choose the future of the Pandaemonium and the other warders: Erich is determined to save his fellow warders, no matter the cost, and his more ‘logical’ approach seems almost an attempt to please the other two and be granted permission to help instead of really thinking it’s the proper way to handle things.
He also loves and hates with more intensity than some other people. Themis seems surprised by how strong Erich’s feelings toward his parents are, both in terms of love and hate.
Erichthonios also seems to look for approval from the few people he cares about: he is deeply hurt and upset when Hesperos betrays them and treats him like he’s a nuisance, he seems unable to accept that the other man may think so little of him. He may or may not be seen attempting to please other people he may grow to respect and like. Overall he seems to be a kind man, just slightly over emotional by his people’s standards.
He also suffers from low self-esteem issues, considering himself weak since he has almost no access to magicks besides the use of aetherial shackles. Themis does hint that Erich is good at theoretical studies and a good teacher, but the man seems more focused on his weakness than his own actual skills.
The warder is also a helpful person by nature, ready to offer his support where he thinks it’s needed. He’s also not above putting himself in danger to protect those he truly loves.
Headcanons:
With him being basically raised by his father’s colleagues, no other kids his age around the place, Erich is far from a social butterfly. He may or may not miss on social cues and he struggles at reading his own feelings at times. Dirty innuendos tend to fly over his head.
He uses reading glasses, carrying them around in a hidden pocket inside his robe.
While he cannot cook to save himself, Erich is an expert when it comes to preparing tea. It’s something he started doing to help his family coworkers relax and he became expert enough on the matter he can prepare his own brews. It’s one of the few things he’s comfortable about. He prepares his brews himself by importing dry tea leaves and experimenting with eplis fruits by drying them and trying new mixes. It’s his personal hobby.
Erich has a secret passion for romantic novels and a little collection stashed under his bed. Living in a workplace where no one but his parents ever dated, he may or may not partially believe that certain things are true. Love at first sight should be easy to notice, right? And other feelings should be all so… all encompassing and strong, at least according to those writers… He’ll definitely not realize he has feelings for someone, should he develop them.
Erich is terrified of butterflies due to a certain incident that happened during his childhood while visiting Elpis with his mother. Let’s just say mom was so busy experimenting with some creatures she didn’t even realize some of the local fauna took away her child and planned to make him their dinner. Thanks, Mom.
